Is Dewsy actually better than standard body lotions?
Yes. While most body lotions are mostly water and stay on the surface, Dewsy provides "face-grade" care for the other 95% of your skin. Clinical studies confirm our mini molecules penetrate the full skin barrier more effectively than leading body lotions, providing deeper, longer-lasting hydration.
Is Dewsy more effective than drugstore therapeutic brands?
While therapeutic brands offer great barrier protection, they often have "poor aesthetics" (greasiness) because their molecules are too large to sink in. Dewsy provides the same deep care with a "velvety soft-touch" feel and a dewy finish that drugstore brands lack.
Why does Dewsy use Petrolatum if it’s known for being thick and greasy?
Petrolatum is the gold-standard occlusive for trapping moisture, but its large molecules usually make it sit on top of the skin. Dewsy "fluidifies" these large molecules into mini molecules, giving you the extreme hydration of Petrolatum with a lightweight, quick-absorbing, and non-greasy finish.

Should I use the Down Deep Body Serum or the Body Lotion?
For maximum results, use both. Apply the Down Deep HA Body Serum first to flood the skin with multi-weight hyaluronic acid for an instant "plump". Follow with the Down Deep Body Lotion to seal in that moisture and deliver ceramides deep into the skin layers.
Is Dewsy vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes, our products are certified vegan and 100% cruelty-free.
Can I put my clothes on immediately after applying Dewsy?
Yes .Our formulas are designed for optimum absorption and are fast-absorbing and non-greasy, meaning no "sticky" feeling before getting dressed.
How does Dewsy compare to prestige brands like Nécessaire or Osea?
Dewsy offers the same high-performance, "facial-grade" ingredients (Retinol, Peptides, Ceramides) and luxurious sensorial experience as prestige brands but at a democratized, accessible price point.
Is Dewsy considered a "clean beauty" brand?
While we are cruelty-free and formulated without parabens, phthalates, sulfates, or dyes, we do not label ourselves as "clean beauty". We prioritize clinical efficacy and utilize highly refined Petrolatum Jelly, which is dermatologist-trusted but often excluded from the "clean" space.
Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
Absolutely. Our formulas are dermatologist-tested and specifically tested for sensitive skin. We also offer fragrance-free versions of our Down Deep Body Lotion and Serum for those with high sensitivity.
