Each formula is designed not only to moisturize, but to actively renew, strengthen, and protect.
Who is behind Dewsy?
Dewsy was co-founded by Kathy Widmer (CEO) and Barry Bruno (CCO). Kathy spent over two decades leading some of the world’s most recognized skincare brands across both prestige and mass, including time at the company that invented retinol. Barry is a seasoned CPG and skincare leader who drives the brand’s commercial engine. Together they bring deep experience in product, marketing, and commercialization, anchored by a shared belief that the next generation deserves better body care.

Dewsy is made in the United States with headquarters in Princeton, New Jersey.
What does “face-grade” actually mean?
Today, women and men understand and rely on proven facial ingredients like retinol, Vitamin C, peptides, hyaluronic acid, and ceramides to take care of the skin on their face. Dewsy brings the same caliber of well-studied, proven-effective ingredients to body care, starting with ceramides and multi-weight hyaluronic acid, with a pipeline of additional actives to follow. And we formulate them specifically for the body: spreadability over larger areas, tolerance for daily use, and textures that fit into your real daily routines.

How to Use
When and how should I apply Dewsy for best results?
Timing matters. Your skin is at its most permeable in the first three minutes after bathing, when warmth has increased blood flow to the surface and softened the outer layer. Pat — don’t rub — with a towel, leaving skin slightly damp. Apply Down Deep HA Body Serum first focusing on areas like the chest, elbows, and thighs. Wait 30 to 60 seconds until it feels tacky, then layer Down Deep Body Lotion on top to seal everything in. A little goes a long way — if your skin feels slick 10 minutes later, you’ve used too much.
How often should I use Dewsy?
Daily. Our formulas are designed for everyday use — morning, night, or both — so they fit seamlessly into routines you already have.
How do I know which Dewsy product is right for me?
Our launch lineup is built around two foundational products. Down Deep Body Lotion is the core for everyday hydration and barrier support. Down Deep HA Body Serum layers underneath for an extra hydration boost and visibly plumper skin — the two are designed to work together. What are mini molecules?

What does the multi-weight hyaluronic acid in your serum do?
Hyaluronic acid binds and holds water like a sponge. Our Down Deep HA Body Serum uses a multi-weight complex — four different molecular sizes of hyaluronic acid — so it can hydrate at multiple levels: the surface, where it gives that immediate plump and dewy look, and deeper epidermal layers, where it improves elasticity and comfort over time.
Is Dewsy actually better than standard body lotions?
Yes. While most body lotions are mostly water and stay on the surface, Dewsy provides "face-grade" care for the other 95% of your skin. Clinical studies confirm our mini molecules penetrate the full skin barrier more effectively than leading body lotions, providing deeper, longer-lasting hydration.
Is Dewsy more effective than drugstore therapeutic brands?
While therapeutic brands offer great barrier protection, they often have "poor aesthetics" (greasiness) because their molecules are too large to sink in. Dewsy provides the same deep care with a "velvety soft-touch" feel and a dewy finish that drugstore brands lack.
Why does Dewsy use Petrolatum if it’s known for being thick and greasy?
Petrolatum is the gold-standard occlusive for trapping moisture, but its large molecules usually make it sit on top of the skin. Dewsy "fluidifies" these large molecules into mini molecules, giving you the extreme hydration of Petrolatum with a lightweight, quick-absorbing, and non-greasy finish.

What are the 5 essential ceramides and why are they in your products?
Ceramides are lipids that naturally live in your skin and help form its moisture barrier. As that barrier weakens — from age, environment, or over-cleansing — you lose water (a process called trans-epidermal water loss, or TEWL) and skin feels drier and more reactive. Our 5 essential ceramides (EOP, AG, AP, NG, and NP) work together to rebuild the barrier so hydration lasts longer and skin tolerates actives and environmental stressors better.
Should I use the Down Deep Body Serum or the Body Lotion?
For maximum results, use both. Apply the Down Deep HA Body Serum first to flood the skin with multi-weight hyaluronic acid for an instant "plump". Follow with the Down Deep Body Lotion to seal in that moisture and deliver ceramides deep into the skin layers.
Is Dewsy vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes, our products are vegan and 100% cruelty-free.
Are your products safe to use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

Can I put my clothes on immediately after applying Dewsy?
Yes .Our formulas are designed for optimum absorption and are fast-absorbing and non-greasy, meaning no "sticky" feeling before getting dressed.

Is Dewsy considered a "clean beauty" brand?
While we are cruelty-free and formulated without parabens, phthalates, sulfates, or dyes, we do not label ourselves as "clean beauty". We prioritize clinical efficacy and utilize highly refined Petrolatum Jelly, which is dermatologist-trusted but often excluded from the "clean" space.
Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
Absolutely. Our formulas are dermatologist-tested and specifically tested for sensitive skin. We also offer fragrance-free versions of our Down Deep Body Lotion and Serum for those with high sensitivity.
Does Dewsy contain SPF? Do I need sunscreen with my body lotion?
Our current launch products — Down Deep Body Lotion and Down Deep HA Body Serum — do not contain SPF. We recommend pairing them with a body sunscreen during the day.
